I've only gotten the empanadas and cafe con leche but genuinely that is all that's needed to know they can really make your day better with a quick pick-me-up. The staff are busy but very friendly and patient and the aroma of the food fills the restaurant with great energy.

I don't know enough about Cuban cuisine to stipulate to its authenticity, but all I know is that the Cubano sandwich is really good for what it is! The bread is perfect toasted - crunchy yet still soft. Generous amount of protein. Just the right amount of mustard. Don't understand the mediocre rating; They're so much better than Sophie's, which has only disappointed me

Tina's Cuban Cuisine is a great spot for lunch. They offer a sandwich line and another line for hot items. I got the fricase de pollo con arroz y tostones. I also ordered tamarindo juice. The chicken was juicy and tasty with the flavors dripping down to my rice making my rice a flavor fest. The tostones were tostones I don't think you can mess that up and the tamarindo juice could be too sweet for some but I enjoyed it. I will be visiting again for lunch very soon.
